    Great prices and in-store specials. The meat looks and tastes like real meat rather than the mass-packaged fare on offer in some of the larger supermarket chains. You can pick up everything you need for a weekly shop here.

    The meat at Hove Foodland is as good as any if their nearby competitors and usually cheaper. Nice people with good service.

    The store is fine but let down by its fruit and veg section. It is the worst I have ever seen anywhere - everything is old and literally mouldy. Ancient corn, tomatoes, onions, apples - so past their use by dates it's disgusting. I have given them multiple tries and it's always shocking (and I'm not fussy). I've had other customers complain to me while I was there sorting through the yuck (many are elderly and deserve better). Put it all in the bin and take some pride in your produce!
